Happy Birthday, Bemco!

Ah... time flies, huh? Today is Bemco's 57th birthday. That's my brother and I showing off an SS30 Salt Spray chamber circa 1959. We still sell that model, and guess what? It hasn't changed much...too bad I can't say the same about me and my brother.

Click here to read up on the history of the company.

Congrats, Bemco.
Adorable pic! I can tell you were sassy even back then. [G]

Um...whats a Salt Spray chamber used for. I assume spraying salt or salt water - but why?

Hey, good question! We don't always know the specifics of what our chambers are being used for. One example of the need for a salt environment is when automobile manufacturers test the parts of a car that will be exposed to icy roads which have been salted. Gotta make sure that widget won't corrode or rust (or whatever salt does to stuff).

For a minute I thought I was looking at Alen Ludden and Betty White for a kids Password show.....
